JAMES PAYNE WEBSITE
James Payne is a Los Angeles-based fashion outfit who specialise in customed tailored clothing, capturing a classic, gritty yet slick DIY rock'n'roll aesthetic. They required a sleek, modern CMS-enabled site with blog functionality and social network integration which successfully showcased their collection without being too obtrusive.

TWO HANDS TATTOO WEBSITE
A custom-built content-managed site built on the Wordpress framework, this site's purpose was to capture the fashion-oriented vibe of the studio via a limited palette, minimalist approach to the layout and capitalising on well-considered use of negative space.

ATOLL FRESH WEBSITE
Atoll Fresh is a hydroponic vegetable farming intiative who are building a vegetable farm on the south Pacific island of Tuvalu. Most of the island is just metres above sea level and is is under threat from climate change and rising sea levels. As a result, food is scarce and typically expensive. They required a simple yet informative and attractive website to promote interest in the project.

Always intrigued by the mystique and wonder of fairy tales, curiosities of yesteryear and arcane visuals laced with beauty, designer Tiffany Jeans uses this tapestry to create a truly bespoke line of curios set to evoke. Having worked in the world of fashion and advertising creating award winning imagery for print and film, Jeans has parlayed her eye using her unique sense of style to develop Curio Noir.
This website was designed using a minimalist approach to the layout coupled with a limited palette in order to compliment the unique and beautiful products created by this company.

THEATRE COFFEE CO. WEBSITE
The Theatre Coffee Company is a cafe situated on Auckland's Karangahape Road. The building it occupies is the narrowest building in the southern hemisphere, and used to be a service lane for the nearby Mercury Theatre. The company were after a sleek, stylish website which focused on the ornate decor of the building.

CUDA SISTERS WEBSITE
I was contracted by Meg and Mana (aka The Cuda Sisters) to build a CMS website for their new clothing label. They wanted an easy to maintain website with basic blog functionality to promote their clothing and share things of interest. This also involved customisation of their Big Cartel site where they sell their line of clothing. The artwork was provided by Tanja Jade (formerly known as Misery).

Sam Rulz (aka Ouch) is a travelling tattooist hailing originally from Hamilton, New Zealand. She spends a lot of time on the road, travelling internationally, tattooing and painting. This site serves as a portfolio for her many artistic endeavours and also boasts custom content management in order to update her seemingly endless list of guest spots all around the world.

ABOUT ME
I am a professional graphic and web designer. I work predominantly in music, advertising, branding, apparel and packaging. I have an extensive list of clients both local and international, including Rip Curl, Tikidub Productions, Rialto Distribution, Rhythmethod/Ode Records, Mystery Girl, Groove Guide, Two Hands Tattoo, Sacred Tattoo, The Tattooed Heart and many others. On top of this I have an inexhaustible list of independent bands, promoters, record and distribution labels both in New Zealand and abroad. In an agency capacity I have worked on brands such as Paper Plus, Toyworld, Dilmah, and numerous Australian retail chains.
I love great design and pride myself on being an affordable and extremely efficient creative design partner for all of my clients without cutting any corners. There is far too much creatively bankrupt anti-design polluting the modern world and I am a stern supporter of the uphill battle against everything that looks shit and shouldn't exist.
As far as the nerd stuff goes, I am proficient in Adobe CS4/5 Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Acrobat Pro. I do not use Dreamweaver. I also have a well-rounded, practical knowledge of HTML5, XHTML, CSS3, jQuery, PHP/Wordpress and MySQL. I have studied previously at Auckland's Media Design School, undertaking both the Diploma courses in Graphic Design and Digital Media, both of which I graduated with distinction.
